Primary Care

At Vida Telehealth, we believe primary care is the cornerstone of your health and wellness. Led by Adrian Thompson, PA-C, our patient-centered primary care will inspire you to become the healthiest version of yourself.

Primary Care is Essential for Improving Health

Evidence shows that improved primary care translates into healthier, happier patients and lower overall health care costs:

U.S. adults who regularly see a primary care physician have 33% lower health care costs and 19% lower odds of dying prematurely than those who see only a specialist.

The U.S. could save $67 billion each year if everyone used a primary care provider as their principal source of care.

“I appreciate that Adrian took the time to dig deep and understand my struggles as a child and as an adult with ADHD. She learned how that led to other behaviors and thoughts and how it affected my work, life, and family.  We took time to create a plan I was comfortable with, and nothing felt rushed. We made a lot of adjustments along the way, not just for my ADHD but for my overall physical health, which has been a complete game changer. She's provided excellent resources and helpful podcasts and has been a cheerleader for my health! “

How does a virtual visit work?

Virtual visits are timely, convenient, and accessible, while also helping prevent the spread of illness.

Here, we prioritize your time—no rushed or impersonal appointments. We collaborate closely with you to achieve your wellness goals.

During your visit, we’ll thoroughly address your concerns, symptoms, and questions. We’ll review your medical history and previous treatments to create a personalized care plan through shared decision-making.

Tests & Bloodwork: If needed, lab work (blood tests, self-swabs, flu, or strep tests) can be sent to your local lab like LabCorp or Quest. Imaging studies such as X-rays or ultrasounds can be ordered at your nearby radiology center. You may use your insurance to cover these tests.

Medications: If prescription medication is recommended, it will be sent electronically to your preferred pharmacy, with insurance to help cover costs.

While we cannot perform physical exams, pap smears, or procedures virtually, your local clinicians are here to assist with these in-office tests when necessary.
